Happy Halloween!!

What a difference a year makes!!!

(Last year's Halloween pic!) I can't believe my babies were that tiny only a year ago:(



The kids had a blast going around the neighborhood in their cars... we only went for about 30 minutes, but they loved every minute of it:) They got balloons at one house and Kaylie thought she was in heaven! After we went around, the kids went to sleep and we sat in the front yard with the neighbors passing out candy... and yes, I was one of the thousand people at Wal-Mart today making the last minute stop to get candy...haha! This past weekend we were in Bryan for Kaylie and Parker's second 1st birthday party... we had a BLAST and the kids got some great new toys, clothes, and gift cards;) We had it over at Momo's house and about 65 people attended!! The kidsa re attacking the computer right now so I will update more when they are sleeping!

Redneck Baby-Proofing!

So, yesterday Parker figured out how to open the cabinets in the kitchen and the drawer of the TV stand... I attempted to put in the baby proof latches last night, but without a power screw driver it's nearly impossible!! So as an alternative I figured a little duck-tape would do the trick:) Now he doesn't even go near them... looks like I will save my energy with installing the latches and stick with the tape (no pun intented...haha)! Once he figures out the tape, I will go to my next redneck invention!

Our attempt at a group shot... once again.. the kids could

have cared less if Jocelyn and I were there!!

I have to start off by saying... I LOVE THIS WEATHER!! Absolutely the best time of the year:) Last week we were suppose to go back to the pumpkin farm with a play group, but the weather was terrible so we ended up not going! BUT Saturday the weather was gorgeous so Jocelyn and I (Cody was glued to the TV watching the TX/OU game) took the kids to the pumpkin farm... along iwth everyone else in the Dallas area..haha! It was a mad house, but the kids had a blast we got to enjoy the fresh air, minus the smell of dirty farm animals:)

Sunday was pretty laid back, nothing much just took the kids on a walk in the neighborhood and watched football all afternoon! Oh yeah, and Parker took 5 steps without holding onto anything... he hasn't totally figured it out yet, but I bet in the next few weeks we will have a walker!

Well, gotta finish my fall cleaning I got going on (before I lose my motivation!!) More to come later...

Well it's offical, Kaylie and Parker are going to be TALL, as if we didn't already know it..haha! We went to the doctor this morning for their one year check up. It was our first time for a "well" visit at the new doctor and it was AWESOME... we were in and out in 30 minutes (shots and everything!)

Well, I gotta run! I just made a VERY last minute appt to get my hair cut:) (Don't worry the kids won't be here alone... Mimi is watching them!!)I woke up this morning wanting shorter hair...haha... I do that every once and a while:)
