Mondays with Mimi:)

Within 5 minutes of being at Mimi's, Parker was climbing on
her patio table!

show on earth! haha... they had pushed so many buttons

that the TV got all messed up!

in the stroller to Whole Foods and they all got lunch to bring back home!

So, for an entire month the kids are having, what mom and I call, A Month of Mondays with Mimi!!! It's my Mother's Day gift.... seriously the best gift EVER!!! This past Monday was the first one and the kids LOVED it... but probably not as much as me:) It was the first time I have been in my own house without kids for more then an hour...haha! I mean don't get me wrong, I LOVE my kids, but it sure was nice being at home by myself for an entire day!! I dropped them off at 10a at her house and she brought them back home at 7p!

All in all, the kids did awesome playing at Mimi's all day and I actually got to get a few things done around the house:) THANKS MOM!!!!

18 Months... a few days ago!!

So, we just got back from their 18 month check up and I don't even know where to begin! Kaylie started screaming the second we walked in the room and didn't stop the entire time... I mean it was so bad that I couldn't even hear Dr. Sickler talking to us! She definitely woke up on the wrong side of the crib this morning because she is usually not like that. Parker on the other hand was an angel, which means he woke up on the right side of his crib this morning because usually when we go to the doc he is the one that throws a fit! I swear they flip flop personalities every few days.... I could never be so lucky to get them both happy on the same day...haha!!

Besides Kaylie's screaming episode the appointment went well and both kids are healthy as horses:) Well, Parker actually has some spots of Ezcema and a horrible diaper rash that requires antibiotic ointment, but it's nothing too serious.

Kaylie:
Head- 19 1/2 in (above 97%)
Height- 34 in (above 97%)
Weight- 27.6 lbs (80%)

Parker:
Head- 20 in (above 97%)
Height- 33 1/2 in (77%)
Weight- 24.6 lbs (30%)

So with all that said we still have 2 TALL, SKINNY, BIG HEADED kids!!! Haha:)

You may be wondering what they are doing these days...

~They LOVE LOVE LOVE to be outside!
~Parker hands me his shoes every morning, which means he wants to go outside.
~They LOVE Elmo! (Which is a hundred million times better then Yo Gabba Gabba!)
~Kaylie is more obsessed with her paci and blanket than she was last month!
~Parker is such a big helper. He will do anything you ask him! (Well, almost anything)
~ Kaylie LOVES to swing when we go to the park!
~Parker will climb to the tallest slide on the playground and go down the fastest, curviest slide on his own and laugh the whole way down:)
~They adore Buddy!!
~Kaylie talks in this loud screaming voice ALL THE TIME! There is no just regular level voice with her.
~Parker has been talking ALOT more (when he can actually get a word in around Kaylie..haha) in this sweet little wraspy voice..so sweet!
~New words include: outside (ow-ide), Buddy (bud), Shoes (ozze), milk (ma), Water (wa-r), and a TON of animal noises plus the other words they already knew from before or I can't think of:)

They are so super cute and fun right now, but SOOOOO HARD at the same time! It's almost impossible to take them anywhere that requires them to be out of the stroller... they want to run everywhere and in opposite directions! So we spend ALOT of time at home in the backyard (the only place they can't get into too much trouble;))

So, yes it has been forever since I have last updated! I am sure a million and one things has happened since the last post, but I honestly can't think right now! For the 18 month update on Saturday, I will update everything that the kiddos are "doing" now!

Easter weekend was fun in Bryan... the kids really had no idea about how to hunt the eggs... they were just happy to be in the front yard (which they never are) so they could run out in the street... don't worry no children were injuried during the egg hunt..haha!! Well, I guess that's all for now, yes I know it's lame that I have nothing more to say, but atleast you got the pictures:)
