BREAKING NEWS: While we were gone we got rid of the BOTTLES!!! WAHOOOOO... can you tell I am happy about not having to look at all those Dr. Browns bottle pieces anymore:)

Now I will be washing and putting together sippy cups...haha... oh well, beats bottles anyday! It seems like every step that they accomplish makes it so much easier and better... now if we can just get sissy walking:) She wants to SOOOO bad, but her balance doesnt want to cooperate with her... poor baby girl!

Well, not too many plans this week... just hanging around here getting everything ready for Christmas. We may try and go to the mall this week for pics with Santa!

So, I was dying to get the kids out of the house, but I couldn't find any kid activities in the Bryan/ College Station area... until Bless told us about the Children's Museum! I'm not gonna lie, I had no idea what to expect and I definitely thought it would be lame, but atleast it would get us out of the house! Boy was I wrong... the kids LOVED LOVED LOVED it! And if the kids are happy, momma's happy! So with that said I think we will go again today;)

A week in pictures...

Last wednesday I took the kids to the library for story
time... Mikayla was in the class before us and saw Kaylie through
the window, and ran over to see her.... sooo cute!

I feel like the past month has flown by... I could have sworn we JUST had their first birthday party!! Once again, I can't believe they are a month older... it's crazy how much they change in such a short period of time! I guess it's time for another "what are they doing now?" segment...

Parker-
1. Walks all over the house ( but still crawls when he wants to get somewhere fast!!)
2. LOVES and I mean LOOOOOVES to climb on EVERYTHING! (His new favorite is on the couch)
3. Fish sticks are his new favorite food
4. He is so sensitive (cries everytime you tell him "no" in a stern voice!)
5. He is such a little love button!
6. He loves his sippy cup
7. He's not loving the stroller right now, but loves to be pushed around in his car!

Kaylie-
1. Still wobbly, but loves to hand on to both my hands and have me help her walk! (she wants to do it on her own so bad, but it isnt gonna happen anytime soon...haha.. poor sister!)
2. She LOVES to look at all the pictures on the walls and say "dog"
3. She's not so much a fan of the sippy cup... would much rather have a bottle (that's a whole other story...)
4. She talks ALL day long... seriously, there is never a minute that she is completely quiet!! haha
5. Her new favorite food is turkey hotdogs!
6. If you tell her "no" she talks back to you and hits your face (if she's close enough)
7. She hates babydolls... the only one she has, she throws anytime its near her! (Tomboy already:))

So, that's all I can think of for now... I'm sure there is more that they do and like, but my brain shuts off when the kids go to sleep (if not earlier...haha) and I can't think!! Oh yeah and about the whole bottle/ sippy cup thing... my goal is to have them off the bottle by the time they are 13 months, which would be today, sooooooo... In the past week I have gotten them to one bottle in the morning and that's it! It hasn't affected them at all... they really don't mind that they only get one, but the big test will be when they don't get the morning bottle... we shall see how that goes... maybe i'll give them a graham cracker instead...haha! Graham crackers seem to heal everything in this household these days:) I will let yall know!

These are a few pictures that one of Cody's co-worker's took at a birthday party we went too! (Parker was at home with Grammy Sha Sha napping, so he didn't make it!)

Just a few tid bits...

Every night I go check on the kids before I go to bed... well, a few nights ago, this is what I saw! I couldn't help but get the camera, we were dying laughing! (Surprised they didn't wake up between all the camera flashes and noise)

And the funny thing is they were both "sticking out" of the cribs

on the same night at the same time! HAHA!

And this last one is of my little monkey... he has figured out how

to either step on that DVD box (which has since been moved) or

he pushes his car up to the TV stand and climbs on top of the TV

stand!

So, anyways those are just a few of the pics from a few days ago... since I put the video up of Parker walking he has started walking SO much more (he still falls alot, but gets up and tries again)! Kaylie WANTS to walk so bad, but the balance just isn't there yet (at all...haha)... her favorite thing is to walk (holding on to my fingers) around the house in circles!

I guess that's about all for now... I am going to work on a post about my new Etsy account that mom and I created! ( If you noticed I added a sidebar on the right side of my blog that takes you right to our Etsy shop!) We have our first craft show this weekend, so I better get sewing...There are a few all-nighters in my near future!!
