First day at the park and softball party!

What a busy, but FUN day! When I woke up this morning and noticed that for once it wasn't going to rain, I decided it would be a great day to go to the Frisco Commons park! Such a good idea... the kids loved it! We put them in the swings for the first time and they had a blast... I cant wait to take them back:) We came home for a nap (Kaylie actually slept for an hour and a half) then woke up, ate lunch, and went to Target! We bought a few new cute outfits and a pair of sandals for Parker! The softball party started at 5.. it was fun to go meet new people who have kids the same age as ours!! Anyways, it was go go go for us today and tomorrow will be about the same... until then.. nite nite!

Anyways, nothing going on around here... we are so boring right now! We do have a pretty eventful weekend though... we have Cody's softball teams end of the season party Friday night (with the kids!) and then we are going to Stetson's first birthday party in Mansfield on Saturday! So I will definietly report back on Sunday and hopefully with plenty of new pictures:)

We made a quick trip to Houston for my friend Matt's

law school graduation party! (I should have taken more pics

We just got back from Bryan and I am exhausted, but I figured I would give yall a quick update! My first Mother's Day was great!! We spent the day at Momo's and ate lunch... Cody acted like he hadn't gotten me anything for mother's day and of course I believed him (he always does that to me!!) He got me Hobby Lobby and Target gift cards and some cash to spend on myself (and not the kids, which I tend to do..haha!) When we got home mom surprised me and had the entire house cleaned and vaccumed... and there was a huge package on the kitchen counter!!! It was a new coffee pot, which I needed desperately and a new sewing machine, actually my 1st sewing machine:) I cant wait to use both tomorrow! Oh and while we were gone, mom made the CUTEST dress for Kaylie!!

Well, like I said at the beginning I am exhausted ... so nighty night!!

Let's see... new happenings around here? Kaylie has decided that SHE wants to start eating solids (She thinks everything is run on HER time, which I guess it is... she rules the house at 7 months old!). She ate a whole jar of apple sauce today:) OH... I am already having to break up fights... Kaylie steals ALL of the toys that Parker has..it doesn't matter if its a baby wipe she will take it from him!!! Like my friend Meg's mom said... " I see a well-used timeout chair in the future"...hahaha so VERY true! Parker is starting to scoot around and Kaylie just rolls and rolls until she gets where she needs to be...haha!

Well thats about all I have for now... we are in Bryan and I am about to go get a much needed pedicure with Bless! :)

Their Differences

As the months go on....it is evident that, even though both these kiddos were in the same womb and born on the same date, they are COMPLETELY opposite! It amazes me to see their differences everyday.... Here are just a few:

1. One likes a pacifier, the other does not.
2.One likes solids, the other just wants a bottle
3.One is a good napper, the other is not.
4. One loves the jumperoo, the other would rather play on the floor.
5. One has to be the center of attention, the other does not.
6. One loves to TV, the other could careless.

So you get my drift... those are just a few of their differences and if you know them well, you will be able to figure out who likes what:)

Anyways, the past few days we have been just laying low, cleaning house, and attempting to get back on a schedule! It was nice being home this weekend (for once!) We got a ton of stuff done around the house (ie. cleaned garage, organized playroom, did laundry, went to Costco, etc.)... nothing too exciting to note, just hanging out and waiting for the sun to come back out so we can play outside!!

Ok, let me explain: Mom and I have completely lost our
minds and started making clothes for Kaylie (Mom used to
make all my clothes when I was little) the past few days!
This is just one piece of the hat...we put it on her head to make sure it
would fit her big noggin!

an easter egg!
