4th of July!!

Sis getting the lawn mower out at the party!
(Carter in the background)

Monkey See, Monkey Do... Brudder had to get the other one! :)

My little fish:) I hardly ever get a chance to take them
swimming because she likes to swim and Parker doesn't
so it's pretty much impossible to do by myself, but yesterday
Sissy LOVE LOVE LOVED it... I mean you would have thought she
had been in the water all summer (It was only her 2nd time..haha)

Princess catchin some rays!

My litte trash man... seriously he is OCD about trash! He wakes
up talking about it, then he will walk around the house looking for
any sign of trash to throw away...haha! He was in heaven with 2
trash cans!

I brought our bounce house over for all of the kids to play in...
It was a HUGE hit!

My sweet man... loves to jump!!

Sis watching the bog boys jump into the
pool... I'm sure she wanted to join them!

Big man!

She loved this lawn mower!
So, yesterday we went to Mike and Benita's 5th Annual 4th of July party! The kids had a BLAST! Kaylie LOVES to swim and Parker was just happy to be running around outside... Meredith came with me so we could have a 1:1 ratio! (Cody is in Bryan... so Meredith helped tremendously!)
Nothing much else has been going on around here... just trying to keep these kiddos busy! They're napping now, so I better go get a shower.... I think we will go play at the mall this afternoon!

Finger Paints and Bubble Baths

My little artists creating their master piece:)

Sweet girl... LOVED painting!

Love my little man... he loved painting too!

Bubble bath to get all the paint off!

Sweet guy!
So, today we had a fun-filled day! We started off with a play date at the splash park, which the kids LOVED! Then came home for lunch and a nap... after nap time I got the creative and made homemade finger paint (2 cups water, 2 cuprs flour, and food coloring). The kids had never painted before, so I knew they would be thrilled to do something new! I set up the Easel outside on the patio and they went at it... they thought it was the best thing EVER! (To bad the "paint" didn't actually stick to the paper, but they didn't know the difference...haha!) After painting, they had a bubble bath in our tub (always a treat)! Dinner was at Christina's Mexican Restaurant, then dessert at Nana Yogurt...yummy!! Needless to say, it's 8p and they have been asleep an hour... I'm right behind them..night night (as Sissy says!)

The Countdown is ON!!!

Sorry no pics on this post but I am SUPER excited about what we have ahead of us...

First off we registered the kids for Mother's Day Out at Cross Ridge Church today... two days a week starting September 7th! You have no idea how happy I am about this:) It will be great for Kaylie and Parker and give me a few hours to get things done without hearing the word "Mama" every 2.5 seconds! 68 more days and the kids will be in MDO!!

Second, we booked our VERY FIRST cruise with our friends Andrea and Jason, and Brandon and Angela... Leaves from Miami Oct 18th for 5 nights with stops at Turks and Caicos and The Bahamas:) 108 more days and we will be cruisin!!! ( I better start working in my beach body now..haha)

Third, my sweet little babies... I mean toddlers... will be TWO in 100 days!!! Holy cow!!

And in other news, my friend Andrea and I are taking the kids to her parents house to hang out in a few weeks and the week after that mom, Will and I are taking the kids to see my dad's side of the family in Lubbock the weekend after Arkansas! Busy few weeks, but so much fun too:)

I promise more pics on Friday.... we have a playdate with my friend Erin and her girls and a few other moms of toddlers:)

Our Daddy is the BEST!!!

Cody dressed up in his gear getting ready
for the babies to arrive!! He was a nervous wreck!!(We were in
the operating room in case I needed an emergency C-section...
that's the reason for the blue suit..haha)

Cody holding Parker for the first time:)

How quickly they grow up... daddy with the kids
at the mall, trying to keep them contained!!

Sisser has his WRAPPED AROUND HER FINGER!!
I mean seriously she will get whatever she wants from him:)

To the most incredible husband and father to our kids that a girl could ever ask for... you are truly an amazing father to Kaylie and Parker and I really don't know how we would do it without you! I knew you would be an incredible dad, but you really have exceeded my expectations:) We love you so much!

20 Months Old!!

One of the 94 pics I took at the Zoo last week:) We'll go ahead and
use this one as the "20 Month Pic" because they never got
out of their PJ's today to get a decent one...haha!
Ok, so seriously is it really only 4 months ago from their 2nd Birthday!! HOLY MOLY is all I have to say about that.... I mean I know I have have said it a million and one times, but THEY ARE GROWING UP WAY TOO FAST!!!
Here is the run down of what they are doing/ saying at 20 months:
Parker:
Words- ball, mama, dada, mimi, sis, outside, truck, milk, elmo, barney, bud, dog, shoes, bye bye, hi (understands pretty much everything)
Favorites- Helping with EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING! He freaks out if you don't let him do it his way...anyone who isn't around him all the time would think he is the biggest titty baby but really he is just SUPER independent and cries any time he can't help.
He helps with laundry, cleaning up spills, dishes, closing doors, giving sis milk or blanket, turning TV on, sweeping, vaccuming...really anthing and everything!
- He LOVES Buddy and is constantly hugging and snuggling him... and he just started wanting to hold his leash when we go on walks in the stroller!
-He gets so excited when we go outside...would live out there if I'd let him!
Kaylie:
Words- truck, hi, bud, dada, mama, mimi ,bye bye (understands pretty much everything)
(yes, I realize she doesn't say many words.... she's stubborn and knows brother will talk for her)
Favorites- she is OBSESSED with her stuffed Barney doll that sings "I love you, you love me" when you press his hand... seriously ANNOYING, but she LOVES him! She hugs him, snuggles him, kisses him...in love with him!
- She LOVES bananas... seriously she ate 3 today!
- She may carry around her blanket and suck on her paci until the 8th grade!
- She sleeps like a hound dog... didn't wake up until 9am this morning and would take a naps all day long if I let her!
-They both pretty much will eat anything you put in front of them...and lately they have been eating us out of the house! I can't imagine what it will be like when we have two 15 year olds in the house! Parker does AWESOME using his fork and usually won't eat without one and Kaylie could careless about it...figures!
- Oh yeah, and we started time outs last week.... Kaylie will sit there the entire time (1 min..haha) but Parker thinks its a hilarious game and gets up 26 times in a 1 min period! Hahaha...
I guess that's all for now... my brain is fried!

Sissy does yoga!!

Kaylie and Mimi doing the "downward facing dog" yoga move! Mimi is getting sissy started early:) It's hilarious because now if you tell her to do downward facing dog, she will get into the position...haha!

More posts coming soon!
